Today was that day, the one that happens unexpectedly every year, when the sky is grayer, the leaves are redder, the air is colder, and you suddenly feel like it's autumn.
It's an exciting time for me, because I've only ever seen Paris in the summertime. Today, it felt like I was in a whole new city.
Of course, it's gorgeous here in the Fall. A bit of quiet peace has settled over the city. I walked from one end of Paris to the other, with leaves crunching under my feet and cold wind on my face. Finally stopping to rest in a park in the 16th, I sat for a moment to reflect on the time I have spent here—on how exhausted I am, how much I have already learned and come to know, and still, how much I do not understand
I think that I have changed more than I have realized. I'm still me, of course, but my character is certainly not a static one in this adventure-tale from abroad.
